Alexander Vexler is a freelance Director of Photography & Colorist based in Munich. He works for over 10 years on different film projects (commercials, corporates, features, documentaries & music videos).
After his diploma in “Media Design” at the University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg, he taught next to his freelance work cinematography at various film universities in Nuremberg & Munich.
His works won several important awards, such as the Eyes&Ears Award (gold, 2013), the International Spotlight Film Award (bronze, 2014), the Prix Victoria Award of Vienna (gold, 2014), the Lakeshorts Toronto Award (student, 2013).
Alexander’s experience as a DoP has a broad and cultural diverse basis, bringing him to work in many countries such as Germany, the US, China, Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.
